On September 17, at the invitation of the Hope for Israel youth ministry, more than 80 young people from different congregations across Israel gathered together in the city of Akko.
Some of the young people came from the south and central parts of the country, including Ashkelon and Jerusalem. For some, the journey took 3–4 hours, but they were willing to make the trip in order to worship God and pray together. It was truly a sacrifice of praise.
Four worship teams led the young people into God’s presence. We saw them opening their hearts to God, praying, and receiving encouragement and hope.
Just two days later, the youth ministry organized another inter-congregational event — a hike along the beautiful and fast-flowing Hermon Stream. More than 30 young people completed a route that lasted about three hours. Everyone was tired, but they were happy to have spent time together, building relationships, laughing, and enjoying God’s creation.
We see a great need for projects like these for the new generation of Israel. These gatherings help young people grow stronger in their faith, build healthy relationships, and find true friendships. We also welcome those who do not yet know God, giving them an opportunity to hear about Him and experience His love.
Worshiping God brings freedom from panic and fear and restores hope. Fellowship, physical activity, fresh air, joy, and laughter help young people come out of isolation and loneliness. This is strength for the spirit, soul, and body.
We need your prayers and support.
During the upcoming Hanukkah season, we have a great need to organize a camp for younger children. We ask you to pray for this project — that God would provide the necessary budget, facilities, equipment, and everything else needed to make this camp possible.
Thank you for being our partners and for helping bring meaningful change into the lives of the new generation of Israel.
May God bless you, strengthen you, and reward you with His grace for your faithfulness, prayers, and support.
With love,
The H4I Team
