Sukkot in Israel
Sukkot is such a beautiful and meaningful time in Israel. We are deeply grateful to God for the biblical feasts He has given His people and for the opportunity to celebrate them together.

During Sukkot, families build sukkot near their homes—temporary shelters with open roofs through which they can see the sky and the stars. This reminds us of how God brought the people of Israel out of Egypt and faithfully cared for them throughout their journey in the wilderness.

As we look up at the stars, we are reminded of God’s faithfulness and are encouraged to reflect on our own lives. We are temporary residents and sojourners on this earth, and our ultimate hope is the promise of eternal life with God.

The Hope for Israel youth ministry organized several special activities connected with the Sukkot holiday.

For three days, families of new immigrants, as well as people who are on a journey of discovering and getting to know God, gathered together on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Together they celebrated Sukkot, worshipped, shared fellowship, and reflected on the miracles and faithfulness of God.

Our annual Festival of Life also took place at Baptist Village. Families from different Messianic congregations across Israel came together for three days of worship, Bible teaching, fellowship, and encouragement.

The organizers of the festival invited the Hope for Israel ministry team to help with the children’s program for ages 3–16. Our team of counselors was delighted to serve the children, helping them learn about worship, grow in their understanding of God’s Word, and discover the stories and truths of the Bible.

We are so thankful to God for every person who is part of what He is doing in Israel—those who come and serve here personally, those who faithfully pray, and those who support the ministry financially.

Please continue to pray for the next generation of Israel—for the children and young people we have the privilege of serving. Please also pray for our upcoming children’s camp during the Hanukkah season.

Thank you for standing with us and for being part of this ministry. Your prayers, encouragement, and financial support make it possible for us to continue reaching and blessing the next generation of Israel.

Blessings from Israel!

With love and gratitude,
The Hope for Israel Team
