This time, there weren't many of us.
Since this worship evening was scheduled during the height of the military conflict with Iran, two congregations in Haifa were unable to prepare a shelter in case of sirens and the need for protection.

But we decided not to change the date of the scheduled youth meeting. Just two days before, we found out that the rocket attacks on Israel had stopped.

Of course, many couldn’t manage to gather their youth on such short notice.

Nevertheless, we were encouraged that a congregation from Akko responded immediately to the invitation to hold an evening of worship and prayer in Afula.
